S.4 Visual Arts students visited three exhibitions at The Mills to explore the connection between art and community. In “Weavers of Waves: Gathering in Drift,” students experienced profound human connections and witnessed how art fosters friendship and collaboration. In the interactive “Seed to Textile 2025,” participatory installations and embroidery workshops allowed students to observe how artists express their ideas through nature-themed creations. Finally, “Traces in Motion” introduced students to local industrial textile branding, packaging, and advertising, fostering a fresh understanding of visual culture.
