2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. In response to the Education Bureau's call, our school has partnered with the Hong Kong Army Cadets to co-organize the “2025 Yuen Long District Primary School Flag-Raising Competition.” This event has received title sponsorship from the Education Bureau's “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country” initiative and strong support from the Yuen Long District Youth Development Association and Yuen Long Town Hall. The competition attracted enthusiastic participation, with 14 flag-raising teams comprising 60 primary school students competing. The competition and awards ceremony took place on December 6. During the event, students held the national flag with unwavering determination and respect. Their synchronized marching showcased youthful vitality and confidence. Through workshops and competitions, they demonstrated perseverance, diligence, and the commendable spirit cultivated through rigorous training. We look forward to these students continuing to equip themselves to become future pillars of society who contribute to the country and serve the community. The champion school was Queen Elizabeth School Old Students' Association Branch Primary School, with student Lo Hei Man also winning Best Flag Bearer. The first runner-up was Yuen Long Government Primary School, followed by S.T.F.A. Wu Mien Tuen Primary School in third place and Lions Clubs International Ho Tak Sum Primary School in fourth.
