National Security Competition: School Awards Ceremony

Our school's students have achieved outstanding results and frequently ranked at the top in national security-related competitions. A school-based award presentation ceremony was held on the morning of 27th February 2026 to commend their efforts.

Award 1: "National Legal Awareness 3.0 Quiz x Slogan Writing Competition"
Organized by the Hong Kong Women's Federation and sponsored by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education. By participating in the quiz competition, students gained a deeper understanding of national security, enhanced their knowledge of the "Hong Kong National Security Law," fostered a sense of awareness and responsibility to jointly safeguard national security, and strengthened their national identity. Our school received the School Active Participation Award.

Award 2: "Prosperous Nation, Peaceful Life; Harmony and Happiness" National Security Slogan Writing Competition
The whole school participated in this Yuen Long District Civic Education Series event organized by the Yuen Long District Arts Committee. The competition aimed to increase understanding of national security through creating slogans that depict the vision of a "Prosperous Nation, Peaceful Life; Harmony and Happiness" homeland.

1st Runner-up: XIA Zhang Yat Lai (6A)
Merit Awards: Ye Sin-Wa (4A), Ma Li Hong (5B), Lam Yao (5B)

Award 3: Path to Governance: Youth Training Programme
Through workshops, seminars, and oral presentations, students gained a better understanding of the national government structure, how Hong Kong people can participate in national development by taking up positions within the mainland government, and considered how Hong Kong's strengths can contribute to national development, offering suggestions accordingly. Our students participated actively and performed excellently, achieving the Silver Award for Outstanding Policy Suggestion Proposal.
