"Salute to the National Flag" Beijing Delegation of Hong Kong and Macao Youth Flag-raising Team Representatives
From September 18 to 22, eight Hong Kong Army Cadets from our school, accompanied by two teachers, represented the school to participate in the "Salute to the National Flag" Beijing Delegation of Hong Kong and Macao Youth Flag-raising Team Representatives, organized by the Education Bureau. This activity aimed to allow students to deeply learn the significance of the national flag, understand history and responsibilities through it, and further deepen their understanding of and identification with the country.
The joint exchange trip to Beijing by teacher and student representatives from the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions was of profound significance. It not only strengthened mutual ties but also broadened the horizons of the youth.
During the trip, the delegation members visited the Palace Museum and the National Museum of China. They were also granted the special honor of witnessing the solemn national flag-raising ceremony in person from the viewing stand at Tiananmen Square, and had the opportunity to visit the Great Hall of the People, making it an extremely precious experience. This trip not only enhanced the students' historical and cultural knowledge but also allowed them to deeply feel the solemnity and greatness of the nation.
Our school will continue to deepen patriotic education and is committed to cultivating a new generation of young talents who love the country and Hong Kong, contributing to the future prosperity and development of both Hong Kong and the nation.
