Our school was deeply honored to invite Mr HO Hon-kuen, BBS, MH, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is the founder of the National History Education Centre in Hong Kong, Chairman of the Education Convergence, Incorporated Management Committee of Elegantia College, Chairman of the University of Hong Kong MACHS Alumni Association, and Visiting Professor at the Jao Tsung-I Institute of Cultural Studies at Shenzhen University.

Drawing on current events and historical records, Principal Ho explained the core concepts of national security in an accessible yet profound manner. He analyzed the progression of China's military development, explored the challenges facing territorial security along with their solutions, and highlighted Hong Kong's role in national defense. The comprehensive and insightful lecture enabled students to deeply understand the critical importance of national security to social and economic development, as well as the fundamental responsibility of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong's national security affairs.

During the interactive Q&A session, students asked questions enthusiastically, demonstrating a proactive spirit of inquiry and a strong concern for national security issues.
